DESCRIPTION:
Young knight-errant Aeta crosses a harsh fourteenth-century Italy in search of Bianca, the person closest to her. Political division, mercenaries, bandits and religious zealots make the countryside dangerous even before the spreading pestilence is considered. Third-person sword fighting draws inspiration from Historical European Martial Arts, using performance capture to support the movement and physical weight of the encounters. The action adventure connects chivalric story traditions with a personal rescue rather than a distant military campaign. Aeta’s journey requires both courage and practical martial knowledge as she moves through communities whose instability repeatedly places another obstacle between her and the person she is determined to save.
