Sonic Heroes for the PC is a 3D platformer that brings a fresh spin to the series by putting a strong emphasis on team-based gameplay. Dr. Eggman has issued a challenge, threatening to conquer the world in three days, and it’s up to four distinct teams of heroes to stop him. Unlike previous titles, the game requires you to control a team of three characters simultaneously, each with a unique ability type—Speed, Flight, and Power. Players must master the art of switching between these characters on the fly to solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and navigate the high-speed, linear levels.

• Team-Based Gameplay: Control one of four teams of three, including Team Sonic (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles) and Team Dark (Shadow, Rouge, E-123 Omega), each with its own storyline and campaign.
• Formations and Abilities: Instantly switch between the Speed, Flight, and Power formations to take advantage of each character’s unique abilities, such as Sonic’s homing attack, Tails’ flying, or Knuckles’ climbing.
• Team Blast Attack: Fill up a special meter to unleash a powerful “Team Blast,” a unique, screen-clearing super attack that can wipe out all enemies in a single go.
• Four Campaigns: The game has four separate campaigns, each offering a different perspective on the story and a varying level of difficulty.
• Replay Value: Players can re-explore stages and complete missions with different teams to unlock new content and the game’s final, true ending.
