Description

 

Resident Evil: Deadly Silence for the Nintendo DS is a port of the original survival horror game with new features designed to take advantage of the DS’s unique hardware. The story follows S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Service) agents Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine as they investigate a mysterious mansion filled with grotesque monsters and mind-bending puzzles. The game offers two distinct modes: “Classic Mode,” which is a faithful recreation of the original game, and “Rebirth Mode,” which adds new challenges and touch-screen based puzzles.

• Two Gameplay Modes: Choose between “Classic Mode,” a pure recreation of the 1996 original, or “Rebirth Mode,” which adds new puzzles and enemies.
• Touch-Screen and Microphone Features: Use the touch screen to solve puzzles, use a combat knife in a first-person perspective, or to quick-turn. The microphone is used for blowing out a candle to escape from zombies.
• First-Person Knife Combat: When using the knife, the game switches to a first-person perspective for more precise, touch-screen controlled attacks.
• Multiplayer Mode: For the first time, you can play with up to four players in a wireless multiplayer mode.
• Classic Survival Horror: Features a combination of exploration, puzzle-solving, and a tense atmosphere with limited resources and ammunition.
